Texas Sheet Cake Cookies




  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 tbsp cocoa
  • 3 tbsp milk (or milk alternative)
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar (or low-sugar alternative)


Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Combine cookie ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Scoop cookie dough 1” apart on the parchment paper. Bake for 7-9 minutes, cool for 5 minutes. While the cookies are cooling, combine butter, cocoa, and milk in a small pan over medium heat. Whisk until melted. Add powdered sugar. Pour frosting over cookies until fully covered. When the frosting is set, serve and enjoy!

Low Sugar Yellow Cake Snickerdoodle



Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl, stir cake mix, melted butter, and egg until a dough forms. Shape the dough into 1-inch balls. In another bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon. Roll dough balls in the sugar-cinnamon mixture. Place about 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes or until edges are set.

  • Bake 10-11 minutes until golden brown
  • Cool for 15-30 minutes
  • Spread colored frosting on cookies
