Ingredients
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. red pepper flakes
- ⅛ cup diced jalapenos
- ½ cup diced onions
- ½ cup diced peppers
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Grease a square 8” pan with shortening or lightly spray with non-stick cooking spray
- Mix dry cornbread mix with vegetable oil and egg
- Add red pepper flakes, jalapenos, onions, peppers, and shredded cheese
- Mix until thoroughly combined and pour batter into pan.
- Bake the cornbread for 25-35 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with melted butter if desired.
